She loved story books enriched with mythology and found inspiration from them along the combination of her vivid dreams directing her to develop her unique style of surrealism.

Initial Concept
Drawing inspiration from dreams and mythology.
Paintings and Illustrations
It all starts with a vision, then the sketch is born. Once comfortable with the visual the placement is then put onto canvas or illustration paper. About half way through intuition kicks in and is set free to add and refine the artwork.
Signing Prints
Each print is carefully checked for quality and then signed and numbered.
Framing
Esmeralda's choice of frames are often intricate and black or dark brown in colour. She is partial to selecting frames that are inspired by baroque or classical styles enhancing each artwork.
